Hi there, I never had a sexual relation with any girl but have been doing masturbation for last 12 years. I'm 25 years old now for last 5 days had a lot of itching around & on my penis, when checked with doctor he said it seems genital herpes because there were few bums/ blisters on my foreskin. I'm shocked to hear this as never had a sexual relation with any one & how could i get this? My genital area is just itching a lot & there no pain etc. I'm so worried pls suggest me what to do...... if its Genital herpes can't I get married & have children in my life?

if you've been having unprotected sex, a full std screening is in order - hiv, hsv, gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis.

did you ever get full std testing after your encounters? if not, definitely get it done.

yes indeed you could be infected with herpes for years and not realize it until you got more noticeable symptoms.

I still have a question that after having sex so long ago HSV or HIV can happen? If yes should I go for these tests for better answer?

if you were having unprotected sex and didn't follow up with complete std testing, then indeed you need to do so now to get better answers. More than enough time has passed for your hiv testing and herpes testing to be accurate.

But when u said any person (male or female) wanna tell you something. When I was done with my 12 standard had a sexual encounter. He was my English teacher......... I couldn't stop him & that went on till 8 to 12 time in 2 years, then my age would have been around 18 years. And after two years I denied to continue that relationship since didn't want to be a gay any more. Now I'm sacred with this Genital Herpes, can it happen after these many years? I had complete urine check up & my report is clear & doctor said now don't worry. But still I'm not satisfied when i watch these bums on my penis. Should I have the blood test as well or HIV test?

If you have NEVER had sexual relationships with another person (male or female) then your chances of having Gential HSV of any sort is none.  This means no oral sex nothing.  If this is the case then your doctor is wrong about it being herpes.  He could take a culture if the sores showed up between 24-48 hours ago.  If the culture came back then positive then I would agree.  But more then likely you have a fungal infection with irritation.
