Well i'm from Malaysia, and i got my blood test marks as HSV 1 IgG negative and HSV 2 IgG positive - 1.5 and Chlaymidia IgG - 2.1. It all happen when i just got skin to skin contact wit a gal's vagina (no sex and i'm stil virgin) and after a week i got this problem. The Doctor in Malaysia say that i got HSV 2 positive and given me antivirals for 10days (suppresive therapy).. What should i do? Is it a false positive or do i need to retest after 3-4months?
And Malaysia they don't provide WB for herpes.. so do i need to fly down to US to get WB?

yaya i understand, but i just need clarification at the very least that i'm i have herpes n i got to stay wit it for life at least i am confirm and change my lifestyle.. if i'm free from herpes, i will b thankful coz i have second chance to live.

thank u, grace, i will retest again after 3 months.. if there is stil no sign and etc. i might eventually go to US for WB and retest. till then pls pray for me, and i will come back to u after 3 months for advice again. thank u
I really can't help with confirmatory testing in your country. I encourage you to seek out a local herpes support group in hopes they can help you seek out further testing.

After meeting the girl on end of september, my penis itchy for 2 hours and i urine frequently. so first thing come to my mind is chlamydia but i have no discharge and my doctor said that it mayb urinary tract. but i feel insecure and force my doctor to run a blood test for me. and the result was wat written to u.
then after i went thru the HSV suppresive therapy for 10days ( 5times of 800mg daily of acyclovir) and now i taking the chlamydia therapy.
But i really wan to make sure that i am not infected wit HSV, wat should i do? I can't live knowing i have 50% of having HSV 2 positive and 50% saying i have false positive coz till now i don't have any blister and etc. (*touchwood).. Pls advice, and thank u again

you aren't likely to have contracted hsv2 from this encounter. your provider needs to familiarize themselves with the false positive issues with the testing and the need for confirmatory testing, not just assuming any + is a true positive.
since you've treated for chlamydia, no way to test to confirm that that too was a false positive which it very likely was.

and doctor say mayb i will b asymptomatic.
i wan to pursuing the test.. but in Malaysia the test are given just by taking swap and blood test.. i just wan to b sure..is there any way to b sure coz i'm taking chlamyidia therapy now (for 4days) as wat my doctor ask me to and i have to come back for Herpes suppresive therapy again.

any symptoms that only last a hour, aren't std related.
there was never a need for any std testing from this. now that your provider has ordered the wrong testing on you as well as ordered testing you didn't need, you'll need to decide if it's worth pursuing proper testing to confirm that you are indeed negative for both or you can realize that this wasn't a real risk for std's, you don't have any real symptoms and just accept that you had the false positives we warn about and move past it.

after 25 days i don't find any sign of blister but sometimes it itchy then within 1 hours is gone.And doesn't have continuous itchyness.

chlamydia testing with the blood tests isn't recommended.
did you have symptoms of herpes genitally or were you just anxious from being naked with someone and seek out testing?
