I think i may have herpes on the cervix

Here's an update, so I went to the gyno after the symptoms of an UTI persisted and they did a swab. The Dr said he noticed an inflamed cervix and a little discharge. I did not ask about lesions. Usually when something is concerning they give medicine right away

Is it possible that I may have herpes on the cervix? I now noticed a yellow pus like discharge and having lower abdomen pain

It is possible. The only thing you can do is wait for the swab results. I wish you the best of luck. Please let me know how the test turns out.

Hello,  I went to the ER dr and she swabbed me and I came up negative for all stis. She did not see any lesions. She told me it looks to be a bacterial infection caused by a bacteria that they are not testing for. Is it possible that I have herpes on the cervix without lesions
I have all the symptoms like back ache and neck ache. Also cramping in the buttocks. This has been going on for months but the cramps did not start until last month. I did a pap test and it came back with no abnormalities or lesions.
I won't say anything is impossible but it's darn close. You woukd not have definate symotoms and no lesions. Far to rare to be a realistic possibility. I would believe your dr.
On a side note pcr swab tests are very sensitive and if the virus is at the surface chances are high it would've picked it up. So lesions or no lesions this is another piece of great evidence you do not have genital hsv.
Thanks a lot I will give more updates when I hear back from the gynecologist
Sounds good
Here is another update. I got the results from my gynecologist, and everything is normal! I am not positive for anything. The ER noticed my cervix was inflamed and prescribe me Flagyl and even when she did a test I was negative for all STIs. None of these panels came with HSV testing as I though it would. None of the Drs noticed any sores or lesions internally. The symptoms of lower cramps and low back ache has been going on for three months. I also remember having a terrible back and neck pain that went away after I placed heating pads to the area.  I am still on the Flagyl that the ER dr given me. I should go for a second opinion. So far the symptoms are slowly subsiding.
Could I have herpes symptoms with no outbreak?
