IGG after 8 months with supression

Hi Terri, I continued to have those intervals of perianal redness and tingling, but now as of december, accompanied by many tiny red dots on my upper inside right thigh, they look like folloculitos but they are not all at hair follicule locations! many are "in between". They are not liquid filled, just red and tender. They toned down after a week but its been 3 weeks now and they are still visible and have not disappeared. During that first week, my upper thigh is ultra sensitive to touch, there are about a dozen of those red bumps scattered within a small three inch area. They started occurring when I stopped taking daily lysine since March.  Since my outbreak like symptoms began, I had taken 3 courses of valtrex (1000mgx10pills) three times, and since the last post, I had only taken valtrex three times also but using a (12x500mg) course each time and have retested twice with Hsv 2 igg was redone on 9/16 and just on 11/16 with values of 0.09 and 0.12 respectively. My hsv 1 is above 5.0 and has been so for years due to oral lesions. Are the 6 rounds of valterx (5 days each time) at the beginning of each outbreak like symptoms considered supressive enough to alter the antibody testing/ keep it at 0.12 after 8 months? I have been taking 3000mg of a product called "super lysine plus" since March, daily.
What do you suspect/ recommend I do?

This discussion is related to Valacyclovir and IGG results.

thanks for the explaination emily! I was confused due to the recent post being ok there.

joe - looks like if you want to talk to Terri further, you'll need to pay to start a new post to her.

The original post was from August, and posts in the Expert forums close after a period of time.  What likely happened is that closed after the Dec 9 post.

When a thread closes, and someone tries to post to it, it will bounce to the appropriate member community.

I'm not sure why they kicked this out of Terri's forum when you tried to add to your post there?
