Igm igg negative

Hello! These are my test results (hsv combo kit) 6 weeks after exposure:

HSV I ab igG ---- 0.28
HSV I ab igM ---- 0.30
HSV II ab igG ---- 0.14
HSV II ab igM ---- 0.34

1.10 positive

All negative. I deal that IGM test are not good beacause give false positives and false negatives, but i  think false negatives are when the IGG are very higth.. what do you think? these results are encourate? thank you very much for help the people :) greetings and sorry for my bad english.

just pain and irritation probably isn't due to herpes.

your testing isn't considered accurate until 12 weeks after the encounter minimum. up to you if you want to repeat it then or not. meanwhile when you have symptoms, be seen promptly for a proper exam and testing.

i have symptoms, are not specific of herpes but may be is it. Appeared after one sex exposure. The results of the test are 6 weeks after exposure. I haven´t had other exposure after these. thx

your testing is all negative.

why did you get tested? how long prior to testing had you last had sex?

Please wait for grace to review your results.  I will tell you the IgM is flawed for a different reason then what you may believe.  It has nothing to do with IgG being high.  IgM isn't type specific meaning it can't tell the difference in IgM for HSV 1 or 2.
