If you have had no symptoms in 15 weeks I would say you have nothing to worry about.  You can request a type specific hsv igg test if you feel the need for peace of mind as you have passed the 12 week time line.

nursegirl, mistakeguy,,,

1. what specific symptoms do i have to watch, is it at the genital area only or all over the body?

2. is it the symptoms of lessions, sores and blister around the genital area should i be aware of?

thanx....

genital herpes causes symptoms in the genital area. syphilis usually presents with an initial cancre sore in the genital area also.

if you need the peace of mind, by all means test for herpes and syphilis so you can stop worrying. you are already under the care of a provider and it sounds like they have been doing a thorough job of testing you in general.

if you want a 2nd opinion then by all means get one. From what you've described, it sounds like your provider is doing a fine job.
