just got a call from my doctor and i have BV. Thanks for the moment of clarity when she set the stage for things to be "serious"
A person can get them on the cervix but it would only be a concern for those who already have hsv genital and would be considered a recurrent outbreak, its not so much for first time outbreaks as would be at point of contact like your outer genital area. First time herpes outbreaks at point of contact. When men have genital herpes, it sheds or have outbreaks on the penis shaft area or pubic mound area and neither could make contact with your cervix.
she claimed that it is not bv as she looked at it under a slide. the lab results were indicative that it was mid yeast and flora. would it be possible to have the outbreak only on my cervix and be undetectable? I have hsv1 so I have read that makes hsv2 symptoms milder in first outbreak
Hi, i think using the word serious was not correct. Herpes are sores that develop and would be painful for a first time outbreak. Yellow discharge is a common symptom of a yeast including BV. You should ask her why she used that word.
