I'm very confused and scared
For the last three months I've had itching and burning feelings on my buttocks with chaffing and itching around my anus no bumps sore lesions just itching and burning it all started after I was with a professional and I started feeling these symptoms the very next day I'm afraid it could be herpes but 3 months non stop is this possible I'm just scared can anyone help with advice I'm planning on having a blood test but I'm waiting on 16 weeks from the incident and have not had sex since
This type and location of these symptoms are not typical for any STD. Neither herpes nor any other infection can start to cause symptoms less than 24 hours after exposure; 2-3 days is the minimum. In addition, herpes cannot cause symptoms that persist for 3 months -- never. So you can be sure this isn't herpes or any STD, or any other infection from that sexual exposure.
Itching in the anal area is very common in entirely healthy people and often clears up with over-the-counter cortisone cream. Otherwise, see your doctor. But you can forget about herpes or any other STD as the cause. No way. (In fact, I recommend against testing for HSV, which could just confuse things. Even if positive, it won't explain your symptoms.)

I'm just worried about herpes it seems like I have all the symptoms except for the sores or blisters I've had pimples but those I've always had but like you said 3 months is a long time to have an outbreak I'm just tired I've started using a jock itch spray hopefully in a couple of weeks it'll go away
When you read lists of herpes symptoms, the only ones that really matter are sores and blisters. Other symptoms (itching, tingling, etc) can also be present, but they are amost never the only symptoms. And your detailed description of the symptoms is strong evidence against herpes. Re-read my reply above and believe it. For sure herpes isn't the cause of your symptoms.
I started jock itch medicine and it seem to help but the burning feeling on buttocks is still and so is itching no sores nothing I'm just confused i fell it more when I sit and lay down sorry for being negative just worried and scared

You're overthinking all this. There is absolutely no reason to suspect herpes as a cause of these symptoms and they have nothing to do with any sexual exposure you may have had. See your doctor. I won't have any further comments or advice.
I'm greatful and very thankful for your help and responses I'm just very nervous about it and tired of dealing with this I'm happy with your diagnoses of me and trust me it does bring reassurance of it not being herpes I pray that it isn't
Symptoms till sores 1-4 days. You will not have the symptoms that longe you wont even have a outbreak that longe.
Ok thxs so being that I've had symptoms for three months rules out herpes or them being on anus and buttocks i woke up feeling normal today no pain or itching I still worried but hope u can comment on my condition again

Clear liqud will slowly flow out of it. It will start to heal. If you have ben looking since day one you will not miss it. For hsv2 first outbreak will last 2-6 weeks tops. Olney 20% dont have sores in the first 3 months. But no sores no symptoms. Plus you can get tested now the number slowly gos up. Youll have your answer. The symptoms are due to the virus moving on your nerv cells. Thats why we can say 1-4 days bec we can feel them moving out.

Rash off and on a couple of days no blisters no scabs nothing just anal chaffing and rash and buttock burn
I will repeat that there is absolutely no chance that your anal itching etc are due to herpes. Re-read my replies above. If you remain concerned, stop screwing around with this or any other ocmmunity forum and see a doctor.
Yah well you my in fact have something but herpes isn't it. Your skin changes so much from day to day. Anxiety + heat rash or well honestly it could be anything. Im shure you have noticed just how much your skin changes everyday. And now that you are looking your seeing stuff. I look at myself every day also. And found out my skin reacts to alot of stuff like deodorant, tooth past, for a rash to come and go that quick is normal. 12 weeks is good time to get tested.

So since I first posted my original question my symptoms have been a lot less I still have a sore lower back but buttock burn is almost gone and anal itch is going away I pray it wasn't a out break it's been a hard three months with a lot of anxiety and depression I really would like to put this behind me so i can resume a life of sex with my wife and smile again be a family Howard thx u for ur advice and input god bless you
