Infected glan or Herps

I'm a 20 year old male. Recently I've noticed a pea sized bump growing under the shaft of my penis near my scrotum. Normally I would assume that this is merely a razor bump but in the last two days I've noticed swelling in the lymph node on the right side of my groin. This swollen area extends from the lymph node down to the bump under my shaft and is somewhat painful to the touch. The lump itself is skin color and seems to be fairly deep under the skin. I have tried to pop it several times but to no success and its become slightly painful to the touch(this i believe is due to my attempting to pop it). I am fairly confident that it is not an std since its been over a year since I've had unprotected sex but I'm not totally sure what to think. Any feedback would be helpful I'm debating whether or not to get this looked at or just hope it resolves itself over time.

Could this be herpes? Honestly, it does NOT sound like it at all.

Should you still go to a doctor immediatly: YES!!!

Tell us how it went, good luck!
