Irritating Discharge

Hello. So here is the long & short of my situation with a bit of before info in case it is pertenent.

Now I have had some irritating discharge all day today, it is completely odorless, but thick and almost looks like chunky white bits in clear mucus. But again totally odorless.
It irritates the ouside of my vagina which otherwise is very dry.

Now... the 2 weeks before Halloween I had very swollen lymph nodes in my throat that caused an ear infection so i have been prescribed what the doctor said was a "double does" of amoxacillan. Strong doses than the regular i guess. Now i did not comlete them all and am now trying to make up for lost time.
Also I have been on birth control for almost a year and have noticed that whenever i am abot to start my period or if i have my period and it gets on the outside of vagina it burns and irritates my vagina until about a day after my period.
I missed my pill for only 1 day and had some light psotting and i am now worried that
1. what if it is HERPES - i know I can live throught this it i sjst nerve wracking and I am worried abaout my self esteem
2. i wonder if it just a hormone reaction to me being off my meds so abrupt and nexpectatedly.
Pleas any advice would be great, now right near my clitoris on the rougher skinn that still has pubic hair on it, I noticed 2 little extra red places, no pubs bt it does seem super tender and it appears as though it has been ripped. But it resembles nothing ihave seen in photoraphs. I am nervous nad nay advice would hlep.

Sorry for all the misspellings.

you still need to be seen for a work up. if they think these look like herpes, they can do a lesion culture and typing for you. also still get the herpes igg blood test because if this isn't a newly acquired infection for you, you will find that out with the blood testing.  recurrences of herpes present differently than newly acquired infections do.

I just realied that I never even wrote what made me think this was herpes. Yesterday I notice two little what almost look like scratches right above where my clitoris is. No on the soft skin but on the tougher skin, they are red and never was there a bump there before, also my whole vagina is very tender to the touch and the discharge is increasing and irritating more this morning.
I am worried that maybe it is herpes, but from what ihave read everywhere they say that it usually begins with bumps that turn into lesions. This is not really a lesion but appears to be more of a scratch. I am kind of freaking out and i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow.
Can herpes start that way?? Instead of the bumps??

you need to be seen today or tomorrow for a proper exam. they should test you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too.

medications don't work if you don't take them properly. MAKE yourself remember to take all antibiotics properly as well as it's very important to take your birth control pill around the same exact time every single day. set an alarm on your cell phone to remind you if you need to!! Also since you are on antibiotics, you should be using a condom until you start your next pill pack to err on the side of caution.

does this sound like herpes? well it could be but odds are it's something else going on. ask for a type specific herpes igg blood test while you are being seen to find out what your status is.
