Follicutilis Orrrr HSV?

A few days ago i got a very small bump on the lower part of my vaginal lip. I had it for 3 days so i went to the er scared I had herpes..He looked at the bump and said it looked more like something to do with my hair and not a std,Because of the way it looked and where it was located..He said it was follicutilis..I popped it today well picked it it looked like a white head and came up with some hairs... Im afraid I have a std because this isnt my first time getting it in that spot. It was kinda irritating when it got touched but it didnt hurt really bad. A friend of mine who has hsv told me she thinks I'm having a breakout from herpes.I go to the doctor next week for test im scared out of my mind.

Herpes lesions are usually superficial, meaning on top of the skin. A bump like you descripe sounds more like an ingrown, pimple or folicus. Herpes lesions do not contain a hair. I really don't think this is hsv related
