Is it Herpes?

On December 3rd I had protected sex with a prostitue . I'm very concerned about herpes because I noticed a condom wrapper in the bathroom trash can. The event were 10 minutes long. I handy to get me started and the protected sex , with her on top of me followed by me on top of her until climax. Nothing more, the condom was fully intact in the end . Since then around 4 days later I noticed 5 tiny white bumps of the shaft of my penis. They do not hurt or cause any discomfort and have not changed since. I am concerned maybe this area was not covered by the condom . The resemble hair follicles and don't pertrude from the skin very much.. Could this be beginning herpes?

This does not sound like herpes symptoms. You'd expect blistery patches to emerge. I think you are describing folliculitis or maybe fordyce spots.

I hear ya. I felt like there is no way  I didn't catch something. If for no other reason than I deserve it as punishment.  It does get a little easier over time. In my case I took a long look at what made me go that route.
The fact you're full of regret and guilt says you care for your wife and indeed have a good heart.
Again look to the odds and science of it and work to forgive yourself.

I made the same mistake as you seven months ago. I know how you feel. In reality like fleetwood has stated your chances of anything from this exposure is very very low. I got tested for everything at the correct time frames and all were neg.
I have never felt so bad about anything I've done. My advice is forgive yourself and move forward.I hope everything works out for you!

I'm trying to do that yours and Fleetwood's advice surely helps!
It's funny I used to have protected sex all the time . Until this I never worried. I agree the chances are very low , I guess the fact I did something wrong is making me find things I would have never looked for, and worry about things I never did. It's my guilt that causes this.

Thanks again you've been great! What I'm afraid of is the unprotected sex my wife is expecting... The csw did have a condom wrapper in the bathroom trash can before I got there I saw it prior to my encounter... So that's why I'm freaking out. I made a mistake first and last.

Protected sex works and prevents or eliminates the chances of of bacterial infections that need to get into your urethra.

Syphilis and hepatitis C are remote chances (not because of symptoms, just that they are a tiny, tiny chance with an infected person). Testing for these is at 12 weeks.

I'd feel that if you were confident that this was a CSW focused on her health and that of her clients, then protected sex represents too low a chance to be concerned. I would resume safe sex and only test if you need the peace of mind.

Thanks for the insight Fleetwood, I truly do thank you on behalf of myself and everyone else you've helped. Before I end this thread I do have just a few more ?s A. Based on my circumstances 100% protected vaginal sex , do I need to worry about any STI? B. Because her vaginal fluid came in contact with the lower shaft does this increase my risk? C. The bumps I speak of are as you say non- changing so far they are very small , white in color and not clustered. They are rather spread out in the area a nickel would take . Located lower-mid shaft with a total of 5-7 of them on the underside of the penis . Last question given it was safe sex and it was on December 3rd , do you see a reason for testing?

Herpes lesions are almost constantly changing; patch appearing, blisters appearing, weeping, ulcerating, drying, scabbing, healing. They rarely look the same a couple of days running.

thank you very much, for the reassurance! Is there a time frame I should be waiting to see if they change?
