As I said - lots of research going on. I personally don't even bother talking about any of it until it's reached stage 2 trials ( doesn't mean I haven't read anything on it, just means I don't like to set anyone's hopes up too high for something that isn't being trialed in decent numbers of people yet ). Too many sounds good stuff that never makes it that far so I tend to stick to what has some decent proof of being promising. just my policy to keep things simple.

At this point suppressive therapy with either acyclovir, valtrex or famvir is the best treatment for herpes if you chose to treat your herpes.
There is TONS of research going on. If you are interested in participating, check out www.clinicaltrials.gov regularly to see if any is going on in your area that you can participate in.
