Herpes 2 still scared
Hello again and sorry I feel posting but I am in need of some support and help as I cannot really talk to anyone about this so this is my attempt to get some more info.
At 6 weeks possible exposure
Igg pos for hsv 1 22.4
Igg neg for hsv 2 at 0.06
Igm positive at .91 said retest as well according to the urologist
Again I know the igm could be a recurrent outbreak sign bc I did obtain a cold sore about 6 days after those blood tests. However I have this irritated redness that looks like it could be a lesion but i can't pop it, it's just red and kinda burns. I've been putting Vaseline on it and it seems to reduce the redness and sometimes it's more red than other times and sometimes it not red at all. Also I've had weird penile symptoms like burning urination, at a point it burned when I ejaculated slight groin pain on both sides, frequent urination which isn't so terrible now, pressure in lower abs, and just kind of a general sick feeling was the very first symptom I had. These have been off and on for 6 weeks now as I am 8 weeks post exposure. Urologist said hsv 2 can sometimes last this long, but I've heard and read it's very rare. I've been reading non stop on forums and websites since the symptoms started looking for different reasons as to why I am having these problems, which I've had since about a week and a half to two weeks after protected encounter with a prostitute. My gf does not have anything weird going on down there with her and we had sex two times after my encounter with the prostitute and both were protected. I'm terrified I've ruined our relationship and my own life, possibly hers to at this point. If this was my primary and initial outbreak would be be going on this long, am I in my own head here? Any help would be great, thanks in advance

I'm just looking for answers bc I haven't had issues like this ever until that encounter. Definitely believing I ruined my life for such a stupid decision.
And now that i think about it i had felt a little sick and my stomach hurt a couple weeks after but my roommate was also sick at this time could be either that or symptoms of herpes like ive said ive attributed all these to herpes.
I engaged in unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a prostitute. 2 weeks later had burning urination frequency to do so. I had two incidences in the early weeks of symptoms with painful ejaculations. Ive also had an irritated burn on the tip of penis that is more intense at times but i feel there is a constant feeling of irritation. The irritation is also red at times and not red at times. It burns when i pee now off and on.Ive had legs sensations but not sure if ive always really got them as every symptom or feeling in my body im having i relate to herpes. I feel like my timeline correlates with herpes except for the fact that ive had this goin on for 6 weeks now and ive had no lesions. Neg test at 6 weeks.
Hi, so your positive for hsv1 and negative for hsv2 at 6 weeks which is somewhat of a good indicator. All those other symptoms like burning would not be herpes related. What was your exposure again?
Anybody have any input here?
