Is this herpes im so scared

have this massive rash all over my scrotum and it itches like crazy and turned into sores.i have a few skin colored bumps on my shaft but they dont hurt and are very tiny,
so i went to Quick care until my doctor is free. the doctor in quick care said it doesn't look like herpes at all more of an infection, and he came and swabbed one of the open sores on my scrotum, im scared because he prescribed me Valtrex.
but the nurse told me not to take it until the test results come back , i asked the doctor how long it takes until they come back he said 1-2 weeks maybe longer i dont want this condition. but its my fault for having sex with this new girl i didnt know if she had anything or not im not sure how i can ask her either without her getting upset,
i have a new GF and we have been having lots of sex lately i mean everyday. im not sure if my current GF is the one or the previous girl. i dont even know how to tell my current GF since we just started Dating 3 weeks ago my mind is in such a blur look at the links below for pics

I understand your fear but all the evidence points to something other than hsv. Anti fungal cream would do nothing for herpes so that's another good sign.

If you did contract hsv from unprotected sex it would most assuredly be on the shat not the scrotum.

nothing is on my shaft only on my scrotum. and since i put anti fungal cream on it, it has gotten a little better maybe the outbreak has went away or the cream help i will know tomorrow if i have it or not and im scared.

I agree with the person who examined you. From what you describe and the area this is in I would suspect infection as well. The scrotum is very rarely the spot of infection as the skin is very thick. Primary outbreaksymptoms happen 3-14 days after exposure so if you have been dating your girlfriend for three weeks and you had sex with the other girl before you two started dating then you did not get anything from the other girl.
Was the sex protected?

Like I said it does not sound like hsv but I am glad the clinic swabbed the lesion.
