herpes?

Just have a few questions about hsv-2, as I am not able to see my Dr for a few weeks... About a week ago, after having unprotected sex with my ex, I started having weird symptoms including itching, and painful burning urination. There were no sores/lesions present and the urgent care center that I went to didn't offer pap smears, but did do a UA and diagnosed me with a kidney infection and UTI. Telling the Dr my symptoms and about the unprotected sex, he seemed to think it was likely Chlamydia and prescribed me 3 different antibiotics. The next day however, I noticed one painful sore on the inside of my labia. The following day, a whole cluster of sores appeared on the inside of my labia, near my clitoris. These were easier to see and it was apparent that they were filled with yellowish fluid. They are very painful, and though I haven't been tested yet, I'm pretty positive that I have HSV-2. I haven't been able to find many answers about how to help an outbreak heal faster, and I'm not able to see my regular GYN for a few weeks. As these are very painful, I would really appreciate any advice! Also, is there any way for HSV to cause the same symptoms (blood in urine) to be confused with a kidney infection? Or is it likely that I have both?
Sorry for the lengthy question, just wanted to be clear... Thank you!

A positive swab is definitive, best way to diagnose location and type of herpes. Blood is useful 12 weeks post the episode, but will only confirm an infection exists, not whether your symptoms were herpes related.

Your questions cannot be addressed in an online forum, if you feel you have a potentially serious condition then you need to seek immediate medical attention.

I'm also a bit worried that your doctor suspected Chlamydia which will most likely cause no external symptoms, it's silent but sometimes destructive for most women.

No, no oral sex. Just vaginal intercourse. And id rather get it confirmed with a blood test by my regular Dr. From what I understand, the swabs can be somewhat inaccurate? And I have my appt set with my Gyn, in the meantime the broad spectrum antibiotics I'm on should take care of anything that's not viral... I appreciate the reply, but it didn't really address my questions

You need to get these sores swabbed immediately at an appropriate clinic if you can't get to your doc.

Was oral sex involved, HSV1 may be the culprit.

Many things mimic herpes (and vice versa) so it is best to seek accurate confirmation.
