Help.

Going back to my current situation, would a herpes sore last 14-15 days? And would it bleed everytime you have a bowel movement or examine it? I'm referring to anal herpes.

Everytime I have a bowel movement, there's blood on the tissue paper.

Hi everyone!

I am female, 21, and acquired genital hsv1 from oral sex while in Spain almost exactly 1 year ago. Initial outbreak was terrible - extremely painful and scary (especially because I was traveling alone.) I have been outbreak free ever since- until now.  Last Thursday I had protected sex with a new guy with no symptoms and noticed two days later what appeared to be the formation of 4 blisters (thought it might be razor burn, no fluid.) A week later, two of the spots kind of flaked away (very different from my initial ob which blistered and scabbed over) and today I noticed what looks like an actual sore.

I am wondering from others' personal experience what the likelihood that I transmitted hsv1 to him genitally even though there was not a full blown ob and we used protection. I am aware that condoms only partially reduce the risk and that female to male transmission rates are lower. I am also aware that it is possible and likely he already has the virus. Also, he went down on me before we had sex- could he possibly become infected orally?

One doctor told me that because hsv1 does not prefer the genitals, it is possible yet highly unlikely that I would transmit the virus to him, even if I was having the beginning of an ob and had we not used protection.

I've done a lot of research and have tried to educate myself as much as possible about hsv1 transmission, and I am well aware that there is little research in this area. Think I am just looking for some support and reassurance here! Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated :)

That is a fissure no doubt.!That is nothing like a herpes slit that occurs in rare circumstances.

You do not have HSV. Good luck with a resolution to your issues.

Fleetwood20, Life360, anybody:

I don't know if this is allowed, but below is a link to an image that I got off of google, and this tear thing looks similar to mine. Is this herpes or an anal fissure?

My tear is the one that looks like a tear with someone protruding out of it.

It's just extremely hard waitin for my results. My anxiety is through the roof.

Would anal herpes bleed every time you have a bowel movement? Like would you see blood on the tissue paper every time?

The one who said it could be hsv said she saw redness and bumps. But the other two doctors didn't say they saw bumps. They said they said fissures and cuts, and a little redness. I'm just so confused and upset :(

I know you are completely stressed and I feel for you but you have been told by some very knowledgeable people here and your examining Physicians that this is NOT hsv.
To answer your question no. Herpes lesions do not stay the same for weeks. The progress to fluid blister, pop and then heal within 10-14 days.
Please believe in your physician and disregard the one who said hsv. It is a shame that idea was forced into your head.
