Looking for opinions
The last time I had sex was may of this year. I have previously tested negative for HSV1 and HSV2 through an igg test. On Aug 9th of this year I noticed what appeared to be a pimple on the shaft of my penis. I popped it and a small ammount of white stuff came out pretty much immediatly a scab smaller than a pin appeared and within 3 days it was gone. Today while showering I noticed a similar small pimple with a white head not in the same spot of my penis but alittle over an inch away. When feeling it it was sort of hard I again squeezed it and the same thing white puss and two hours later I cannot even really tell where it was at except it is red from squeezing it.
My question is are pimples on the penis normal? I workout alot and also do alot of cardio.
Also I read from Dr. Handsfield that herpes recurrences never occur sooner than 4 weeks after an outbreak. This 2nd pimple is at alitle over 3 weeks is Dr. Handsfield correct.
I have had no other symptoms like itching, tingling, pain or anything. I became paranoid reading some stories on the internet which makes everything sound like herpes.

Thank you grace, I have one more question and I hope you can help. I have pretty much examined myself every day since that night of sex. I have not had any redness, itching, tingling, flaking, lesions or sores in over 17 weeks. I have not suffered any flu like symptoms either. Can I put this behind me or do I need a blood test?

usually genital herpes lesions don't start out with having a white substance in them and typically they are not something you are going to pop without a lot of pain. they also aren't hard.

Thank you, what is usually the difference between a common pimple and genital herpes? Is it possible I have always had pimples forming on my penis but since I've been examining myself daily I now notice everything that pops up?
this doesn't sound like herpes going on.
this could be a pimple or perhaps even molluscum so if it reoccurs again, don't pick it but be seen promptly for an exam.

Doesnt sound like hsv at all. But you do have glands in the genital area so maybe thats whats going on. Schedule a doc appt if you want to be sure though
