Yes. You can not transmit hsv into clothes and infect anyone. You seem overly concerned about an incredibly low risk encounter.

It's very close. It's not 100% risk free but the odds are ectremely low
Hsv1 is the only posibility and it is extremely low. If i were you i wouldn't be concerned at all.
