Misdiagnosis????

At first i had a sinus infection and took amoxicillian for that.  Then I had real bad irriatation, and clumpy abnormal discharge, and open sores inbetween my vagina and anus.  A few days after this happened I noticed little bumps on my labia that were tiny and white and popped rather quickly and then turned into ulcers.  They caused no pain and I barely knew they were there.  I went to a gyno to find out what the issue was.  He pretty much said it was a yeast infection and that the open sores near my anus were from it as well, caused by the sensitive skin in that area, moisture, etc.  However he said the  tiny ulcers on the labia might be herpes even though the swab test came back negative.  I have been tested for herpes many months prior to this and my results came back negative.  So I plan on getting another blood test in another few months to see if this correct.   Now I have finished the yeast infection treatment and everything has cleared up.  So its it just a coincidence that I get a "herpes" outbreak that comes and goes with the yeast infection?

Have a sore inside nose, nasal septum, scabs.  Was put on Avelox for 10 days.  It did not go away.  Now I have herpes on the top (inside of my nose).  Feels like it is going into my sinuses.  Is this something to worry about?   The herpes is on the inside of my body not on the outside.

Yes I was in a sexual relationship for about 4 months and it was after my last herpes blood test and it doesn't seem like he's ever been tested.  So it does seem like there is some possibility for it to creep in.

Are you also in a sexual relationship? Is it a new one since your last herpes blood test, and has your partner been tested?

Taking an antibiotic can definitely cause a yeast infection, and it all could be attributed to that. Herpes would depend on the questions I asked above, and yes - further blood testing at the 4 month mark from your last sexual encounter would make sense if you did not know your partner's herpes status.
