Mollaret Meningitis

Last summer I had my 3rd bout with meningitis caused by HSV-2. I have been religious about taking valtrex 500mg/day as suppressive therapy. About a week ago I started having a headache and a low grade fever, generally feeling like sh*t, and got the outbreak tingle down you know where... I never got the outbreak but I'm knocked on my butt and debating whether to go to the hospital for the meningitis. I've upped my Valtrex to 2g/day for the last 2 days, but still not feeling any better and I really don't want to go to the hospital. Anyone out there have any experience with this??

go to the dr.  i know when your immune system is low is often when hsv will show up. or if its new i think the usv weakens the immune system and makes u vulnerable to sickness.... colds etc...
definitely get medical advice!
