Mouth Herpes Contraction

Hi, if a person1 (who is infected with mouth herpes) kisses person2 who in return kisses person3 at least 10 minutes later, what is the chances that person contracting mouth herpes.

Not an issue either except to person #2.

but what if person 1's contagious hsv was still in her mouth?

first of all person 1 would need to actually not only have to have oral herpes but would also have to be actively shedding the virus at that time. Even if person #2 contracted hsv from person #1 from that kiss - they aren't going to be contagious that quickly to transmit the virus to person #3 10 minutes later.

Well, if person one did indeed pass on the virus, I would say it is possible for person 2 to give it to person 3. I take it you are person 3?
