genital herpes?

hey i received unprotected oral sex from this girl about 4 months ago. I was drunk at the time, and kinda remember it being a little painful as if she cut or scraped up my penis with her teeth or toung ring. About a week after the incident i noticed a red irritated rash like spot on my penis head. i dont experience any kind of itching or burning with this rash, but when i rub my penis head slowly with my finger it burns, as if the skin is scrapped up or broken. ive been to two different doctors and both of them didnt think it was herpes, instead said it was probably a fungal infection or something.

about 2 months after the exposure i had a blood test, and i came back negative for genital herpes and hiv, but positive for herpes simplex, which the doctor said was oral and that i most likely gotten it as a child. Both my parents have cold sores from time to time but i have never rememberd having one in my life. The doctor confusd me because he said that the herpes that i had couldnt be genital but ive read that hsv-1 can be. i also called him to retake the blood test and he said that there was no need and that nothing would change since my last one, and he said to wait like a year to take it again...

im still experiencing this red irritated rash like spot on the head of my penis from time to time. its been reoccuring for 4 months now and just comes and goes. sometimes its there for a day other times its there for a week. idk what this is and im really worried about this for the past 4 months.

can anyone help me out? and does anyone think that this could be genital herpes?

any help will greatly be appreciated cause this is killing me...thanks for reading

Okay, you're positive for HSV1 (oral herpes).  You can get HSV1 on your genitals.  It is estimated that over 80% of Americans have HSV1 by the time they reach their forties.

You could have gotten it any time of your life and could have gotten it before your referenced *******.

In other words, you can't blame the girl for giving it to you.

Make sure that you tell any future partners about you being HSV positive, but also keep in mind that almost everyone already has it.  In fact, the only reason that I think you should tell possible partners is because there is a tenuous link between alzheimers and HSV1
