Is it possible I have herpes ?

I am 23 , sexually actively with my boyfriend who I have been dating for almost 7 months. A couple weeks ago I started to get sore while having sex, and after .It felt as if the inside of my vagina was swollen like a balloon . The pain didn't last long afterwards , only from when we have sex . Last week I felt as if I had an ingrown hair on my outer labia ( from shaving ) it felt somewhat large and I kind of squeezed it , nothing happened. this sore was painful , and a day later I thought I had what felt as a UTI , where urination burns and stings , but I did not have to go frequently . then I thought maybe it's a yeast infection? Except I don't have any discharge or fowl smell . A couple days later I noticed MORE bumps . One same size one , just on the opposite side . A couple superrr tiny bumps on my inner labia , around my clit. And the most painful ( almost dry looking tears right around the bottom of my vagina . after noticing these I called my doctor immediately to go In for an appointment. I haven't seen her yet but was asked to do a urine sample to leave with them . Urination is veryyy painful and touching stings . I'm getting a litter nervous as the symptoms almost sound like herpes . I just don't understand how I would just now be having an outbreak after being together so long .
Also my doctor sent antibiotics to my pharmacy for a UTI ( nitrofurnantoin mono ) until the urine sample runs through the lab .
Could I have a skin irration or infection from having sex , urine ,shaving , lotions , bodywashes? Or could this actually be a possibility of herpes ?

It could be any number of things! The most important thing for you to do now is have those bumps looked at immediately. Don’t wait! Go to an urgent care if you cannot get in with your doctor. You should have those sores swabbed and typed to know if they are herpes. The sores and discomfort is concerning and if you wait to get swabbed, the results might not be correct.
HSP can be spread by somebody who is totally without symptoms. People who have HSV do not shut the virus all the time and many times, couples will go along time without transmitting it. Did your boy from perform oral sex on you? If so, it could be HSV one would usually causes cold sores around the mouth. Even if someone has never had symptoms of them they can still carry the virus because it’s very common.
