Need help reading my results!!

Just got my result back and want to know what they mean

October 2010
HSV IGM AB Titer--40            <10 not detected
HSV 1 IGG AB--0.70                <0.90 negative
HSV 2 IGG AB--0.11                <0.90 negative

January 2011
HSV IGM AB Titer--1.40          <10 not detected
HSV 1 IGG AB--0.62               <0.90 negative
HSV 2 IGG AB--0.72               <0.90 negative


Why the jump in HSV 2 IGG?  Do I have herpes?

the change in your results is meaningless. no reason to worry!

Just routine screening.  Does the jump in HSV 2 IGG from Jan 2011 mean I may still get herpes?

you are negative for both hsv1 and hsv2.

why did you get tested - obvious symptoms or a routine screening?
