Hi Doctors,

  I have a question in regards to an usually feeling in the genital areas that I've experienced.  On May 29th, I started to feel a tingling sensation on my penis that would come and go as please (lasting seconds to minutes) that lasted for about 2 weeks until 9th of June.  I put anti-fungal cream, thinking it might be yeast because there was irritation on my penis.  On June 10th, I woke up and looked at my penis and on the right side, underneath the head of the penis I noticed a line of really small white dots that are hard to visualize unless you look real closely at them.  They are painless and go away during erections, you can only notice them when the penis is small.  Not sure what to make of them, my last sexual experience was over a month and half ago.  Again, they are non tender, about 4 or 5 in a line, very small, shinny almost wart like appearance.

Thanks for your response! Ya it doesn't seem to be the typical presentation of herpes but I will get testing done in 6 weeks.  Which forum can you have a doctor respond?  I was under the impression this is one.

You won't find any doctors in this forum, but I can give you my inexpert opinion.

The lesions you describe don't sound like herpes. Have you ever been tested to know your HSV status? If not, I suggest getting a type specific IgG test in about six weeks, once three months has passed from your last sexual encounter.
