I've been diagnosed - help

So after some encouragement I finally went to the doctor, and I tested positive. I have a question regarding treatment. Right now I have bumps on my scrotum, will valtrex or any other treatment, make those go completely away, or does valtrex just stop it from spreading? I am referring to daily suppressive as well.

If you are not having many outbreaks then there is little need to be on Suppressive Therapy, and your Doctor is correct to leave things as they are if you are coping well enough and not having outbreaks on any regular basis.

Stay Well :)

Well I had I believe 2 outbreaks. The first one was hell. but the second one I really didn't know I was having one. I don't take medicine or neither am Im not on daily suppressive because my doctor says he wants to see how I do without it and so far I'm doin' pretty good and trying to live my life.

They should get better the less outbreaks you have I am a supporter of Suppressive Therapy for a few reasons ..... Firstly the outbreaks are less and if they do happen they are generally less severe also it does tend to help the psycological affect a Herpes diagnosis has on many people because if there are less utbreaks then there is no reason to be thinking about it 24/7 and life does seem to get a lot easier in that respect but it must not be forgotten that you do carry the virus and care must still be taken not to put anyone else at risk by adhering to some simple safety precautions.....
Herpes should not be looked upon as the end of sexual relationships,it simply means taking care and protecting others.
