New to site. constant

I was diagnosed with hsv 2 through culture in 2000  I had very few outbreaks maybe 2 a year until last year Since then I have had continuous outbreaks hardly ever any relief The only thing that has changed is that i had a child and then the outbreaks increased dramatically I constantly have burning, itching, or tingling on one side and around my clitoritis I look every day in a mirror and I can only see one spot that is like a lesion kind of white in color and bump with tiny bumps the rest of the areas are just really inflamed red and sore I know the prodromes that I have had in the past and what I get now is exactly the same, the tingling especially I also have been to the doc and tested for infections and none has been diagnosed I am also on supressive therapy with acyclovir 400mg 2 times a day and the only change is that it is a little less painful and instead of 2 days between ob I have maybe 3 or 4 days now Is it possible to have this many ob in a otherwise healthy female on supressive meds. Should I try a different antiviral

hormones can do a number on many things.

at this point you need to confirm that indeed it's herpes going on or not and go from there.  white patches all the time, are most likely something else going on. if it's not herpes, all the suppressive therapy in the world isn't going to give you relief.

Thanks for the help I will def get it looked at. I had a few other questions for you if you dont mind answering I would really appreciate it. I had read when scrolling over the forums that some individuals end up having worse breakouts that happen more often, is this unusual. Is it possible that the pregnancy and birth by csection caused this and if suppressive therapy with this drug doesnt seem to help should I try something else?

Perhaps a dermatologist then at this point for a biopsy of this spot is the next step?

I have not let up with my doctor on trying to find out what is going on. I have been tested for infections a total of 6 times in the last 12 months all negative except once with yeast. Another thing the white place with bumps and redness around is very close to the spot from my primary outbreak, which only consisted of pain in groin area and 1 dime size lesion. So I am having a hard time understanding why it seems to be getting worse and why my ob or whatever seem to be coming more often. Isnt this the opposite of what usually happens. No he did nothing with the white patch he simply said it was near the primary and most likely it was a lesion just inside the labia which would cause the difference in appearance and the reason it never scabs over. I had read when scrolling over the forums that some individuals end up having worse breakouts that happen more often. Is it possible that the pregnancy and birth by csection caused this and if suppressive therapy with this drug doesnt seem to help should I try something else? I would say myself that it is something other than herpes but it just seems to be happening close to the primary spot and the redness is always in the same spots too. I really appreciate your time and opinion. I am at my end with worry and confusion on why my body seems to be reacting this way. Will I ever have a let up to feel normal again?

I think you need to continuing pursuing a work up for this. You've ruled out vaginitis but get tested again for it as well as you need this white area further evaluated. Many other things it could be and if it's not going away and staying away with suppressive therapy, it's most likely something non-herpes going on.

did they prescribe you anything for the redness or this white patch?
