Nerve pain related to herpes

So I was just wondering if anybody has dealt with nerve pain from genital herpes? I'm still not convinced that I don't have it. 4 days after unprotected sex I started burning in my thighs and back of thighs. Then later the burning kept up my inner thighs close to my knees. I'm wondering if anyone has had that as a first sign of herpes with no lesions or redness? I can't seem to get herpes out of my head. Whatever it is has been driving me crazy. It will be 7 weeks on Friday with this burning. My NP has scheduled a nerve test for me but  still not convinced its not herpes related. Thanks.

I know. It's more common than you think. I have many people (men and woman) who have strange symptoms after a sexual encounter that never have an actual outbreak or test positive for any std.

Clearly this isn't herpes. The symptoms wouldn't last that long and you would've had a noticeable outbreak. The burning is covering to large an area as well. Nothing you describe sounds like hsv.

It's just weird that all this was after my stupid aexual encounter with someone I barely know. Ugh.
