In December I was infected with HSV 2 by a man who had also infected at least on other lady (we were in a 7 month relationship, but he was obviously not being monogamous (which I found out later). My initial symptoms were 102 fever, severe blisters, meningitis, nausea, severe fatigue. I hadn't had intercourse for over 2 years prior to meeting this man. What are the chances that I acquired HSV2 prior to this man, but the intitial symptoms showing up so much later. Now there is an investigation and we need to prove that I could only have gotten the HSV from him as the symptoms showed up when I was in a relationship with him.
I'm wondering if there is any way to connect the HSV2 antibodies in his system to the HSV2 antibodies in mine (by means of DNA or chromosomes). Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions!?
