Not sure if this painless bump is herpes

This summer I had what I think was a cold sore for the first time on my lip- it had a tingling sensation and responded quickly to the medication i put on it from the drugstore. It's now been about 4 or 5 months since that happened and I haven't had another one.

In the last month or so I noticed a small, painless bump on an outer vaginal lip that has not bothered me, or changed in color. I'm worrying that somehow whatever I had over the summer got transferred to my genitals but I've been so worried that I've ignored it and haven't seen anyone about it. It will be weeks before I can see a doctor, but I'd like to know if this is something I should be worried about! Does herpes ever manifest itself like this? And stay around for weeks on end?

You should just leave it alone and see your provider about it as soon as you can to find out what is going on.

Now that i wrote that last night, i looked this morning and instead of being a consistent pink color it looks like one side of it is lighter in color, almost white as if there's fluid inside. It almost looks like a big pimple, but I'm almost positive it's not, as it's been there for weeks.

It's also the only one of its kind. I've never seen a cluster of bumps together. Hope this helps

Herpes wouldn't go unchanged for a month in the genital area.  It's something else going on down yonder.
