Is it that i was positive for HSV II IgG

Hi,

I was tested for herpes antibodies 20 days back and the result is as follows


method  ELISA
HSV I IgG 7.0 RU/ml
HSV I IgM 0.4

HSV I IgG 24.0 RU/ml
HSV I IgM 2.6

and references as for IgG

-ve      when      or equl to 16 to 22 or equalRU/ml

and references as for IgG

-ve      when      or equl to 0.8 to  or equal to1.1




and the results are as follows for the test i took after 2 days the above test

HERPES SIMPLEX ANTIBODY(IgG+IgM)ELISA

ANTI HSV ANTIBODY IgG  0.22
ANTI HSV ANTIBODY IgM  1.25



I had some little bumps at my vulva those or not like sores but they are just like white pimples and gone away after 15 days....using herpex ointment . I and my partner never had sex with others in the life....
Iam confused is it really herpes?
Please give ur concerns

They dropped the ball then. Seeing as how you are both each other's only partners, it would've been better to get a lesion culture of the active symptoms as well as to test you for yeast and bacterial infections. If you still have symptoms, go be seen and follow up on it.

no i was not tested for yeast and bacterial infections and i was only tested for herpes antibodies

I'm sorry but you had testing done with a method that is not done in the US so I really can't confidently comment on the results of it.  It's not a test that reports in a manner to which I'm familar with and I'm unaware of the sensitivity and specificifty of the test to help you decide where to go next.

Did they do any testing of the symptoms you had or just the blood test? Were you also tested for yeast and bacterial infections and such?
