Partner hasn't contracted herpes
I contracted herpes a year ago while broke up with husband.we got back together 10 weeks after I had this one off encounter with a man.16 days after we got back together I developed herpes symptoms very bad but with no sores that could be seen.i was ready to tell of my encounter but my friend maintains 10 weeks was too long to break out ,it must be my husband that gave too me .a year later I have lots of mini outbreaks but with no visible sores and my husband has still not complained of any herpes.we have sex a few times a week.who is it likely I got off and why has my husband no symptoms.he would freak out if he had and not be able to hide it!

If you have no sores, what are you calling outbreaks? Have you been diagnosed by a doctor? How were you diagnosed, if you were?
10 weeks is a long time from infection to symptoms, but it's not impossible. It's also possible that your husband has it, never had symptoms and gave it to you.
Does your husband, or did the other man, give you oral sex? You can get genital herpes type 1 (ghsv1) from someone who has oral herpes type 1. Even if the other guy gave you ghsv1, and your husband has oral type 1, it would be very unlikely for him to get it genitally.
If you got hsv2 from the other guy, and are having outbreaks and having sex with your husband, he will get it eventually. How will you tell him then?

I went to 2 doctors initially and treated for uti.i had bumps but no open sores so they wouldn't test.where I live they refuse to test through bloodtests.i had terrible back pain,buttovks legs..burning stinging headache,sores inside but bumps outside which lasted 3 months the 1st time.i don't think I was given oral on this encounter.my husband does .he is very healthy,daily taking many supplements,vitamins,unusual herbs etc so I wonder is this why he is not unwell.i know he went on s few dates while we broke up I can only assume he had intercourse,though he says not.
Did they see the sores inside? They can test those.

They won't do any tests without open sores,I went to an std clinic..got tested for everything possible but lab refuses to do bloods in my country to test for herpes because of cold sore virus and herpes.thet won't commit to an answer that could be confusing even though I've never had a cold sire in my life.fir that reason the doc tried to get lab to test but they still refused
Can you go to a private doctor? There is something called a PCR swab that can be done on an area with no blisters.
Maybe a private doctor can do the type specific IgG blood test. I know there are places where the test is harder to get - the UK, many countries in Europe. Even if you tested positive, it doesn't tell you that what you are experiencing is herpes. The swab would.

It was private doctor that offer full screening..alot don't here.my sores seem to be under the skin surface without erupting.or like bumps but not sufficient to test.my own g.p even with all the symptoms doesn't think it is but I know it is.i have the predome symptoms alot and while I feel sore inside I can't really find anything but can feel them when sitting etc.the doctor was willing to do bloods as I've never had a cold sore but labs won't coopereate

Herpes isn't under the skin. It's on the skin. It doesn't sound like herpes to me.
Prodrome is a warning sign that a herpes outbreak is coming. It lasts 2 days at the most. It's not something that happens a lot, or all the time.

I'm one year this month since this began .1st time- belly pressure pain - headache-back pain-tingling burning pins and needles down buttocks to legs.all this happened over a couple of days..thought I had thrush as felt funny down there.could see things in skin..and kind of pimply things..doc said they could be herpes but couldn't say....this episode lasted 2 months at least..and since then I will get a day or two of some above symptoms and sore inside..as I am currently.if I'm very stressed it seems to set it off alot
