last question i PROMISE!

i just need final reassurance:

blood test negative for hsv 1 AND hsv 2 at 10 weeks and 2 days post exposure. if i'd had a symptomatic outbreak this would have been positive by now, right? hopefully? no more worrying?

Yep - if you had been completely hsv negative and contracted hsv genitally - chances are good you would've had a "classic" ob and as anyone on the boards who's had one can tell you - they aren' t easy to miss.

I am not an expert but I think 10weeks is long period to be sure that u dont have any of the HSVs 1 or 2. Yes the report would have been positive by now if u had it. Please enjoy ur life as u used to 10weeks before.

PS: I have spent my 1month and 9days post exposure with a clean report and minor symptoms,  waiting for my 10th week like you to be happy.
