Please help... I've got a question!

So last September/October I noticed I had some peeling skin on my upper thigh right next to my genitals (kind of by my balls and stuff).  This lasted until basically a week or two ago.  There is still some irritated looking skin there.  This never hurt or blistered to my knowledge.  I assumed it was from either rough sex or masturbating.  At the time I would do it in shorts and pull the shorts super tight in that area so I thought it was irritation from that.  The skin was basically pinkish and circular peeling in multiple areas and it was an area about 2-2.5 inches long and 1-1.5 inch wide.  I didn't think anything of it since I've had skin peel before.  I just had sex with my new girlfriend and about 3-4 days after our first encounter I noticed a single blister that formed on the opposite leg in the same area.  It doesn't hurt at all but but it does feel "different" if I poke on it.  it's not painful though.  I noticed a reddish spot and the next day it was there.  I can't tell if it's fluid filled and I don't want to pop it to find out.  It's not too big or too small... it's about .25 of an inch or smaller.  It's been about 3 days since it's formed.  I don't really know what to ask...  I guess I'm just asking your opinion on my ordeal.  Could these things be related?  What does it sound like to you?  Please help?

thank you Grace... I'm going to go get it checked as soon as possible.  I was just wondering if dry peeling skin is a sign of a fungal infection and if a blister is too.  I wasn't too worried about anything until that blister appeared.  It seems to have died down since my previous post but it is still there.  I also noticed a lot of dry skin above my penis in the pubic area.  From what I've been reading this leads me to believe it may be a fungal infection but I'm not throwing out any other options it may be.
