Have i contracted herpes? Please help

Hi, i had protected sex with a someone anonymous. I explain this in the HIV/ARS community and was told that the chances for me to get HIV is low to none.
However this is the 5th week after exposure, i started to notice my right palms are sweaty in the night, and started tingling and slight numbness. My right foot do feel somewhat the same, slight tingling and numb.
I did not circumcised, when i pull up the skin, i do notice that there is some mild rash on my penis head, i don't see blister, but feel bit uncomfortable when pulling up the skin. I don't normally have this feeling previously.
I do notice that my arm and thigh have few spot which appear like bliss, burst because of itch then recover itself after 2-3days.
Please can you tell me if this is herpes symptoms? the anonymous lady did a blowjob without condom on me previously.
Can i pass herpes to my family members through saliva or sweat?
When should I get tested for herpes post exposure? i just finished an antiviral drug - tenofovir disoproxil fumarate previously (30pills)
I'm sorry if I appear anxious, but this is driving me crazy.

Thank you.

Hi WellinfirmedPerson, do you mean herpes cannot or can be transmitted through sweat and saliva?

Sorry. Herpes cannot be transferred through sweat. It's a very small risk with saliva, the odds are probably less than one in several thousand. If someone had an active herpes blister, that is different because of the amount of viral shedding.
Thanks again, by any chance that the tenofovir medication will delay any type of std symptoms?

I can feel your anxiety. Nothing you describe sounds like typical herpes symptoms and the timing is also not typical - 5 weeks is too long. Most new herpes infections will show symptoms within 7 days, some cases up to 10 days, very uncommon past 2 weeks. If this were a true primary infections your symptoms would be obvious and would appear on the surface where maximum friction occurred during sex - the penis, but you used a condom making this very unlikely.

Since you had protected sex, i.e. used a condom, it's very unlikely you contracted anything. First of all, you don't even know whether this person was infected with anything, and even if they were infected with herpes, the vast majority of sexual episodes don't result in transmission. The fact that you used a condom makes it even more unlikely. The fact that you had no noticeable symptoms in the first 7 days makes it even more unlikely that this episode resulted in an infections.

Have you ever had an IgG based type specific test to determine if you have herpes antibodies of either type I or II?

No, you or anyone else can pass herpes to anyone in saliva or sweat.

Bottom line: based on what you describe, I would be willing to bet my life savings that you did not contract herpes from this episode and your perceived symptoms are due to anxiety.
