Oral Herpes? what could it be?

Ok back on feb 13th i had a night of drinking (from about 8pm-2pm next day). I started my night drinking from various places to places. Around 6am i was on the beach (shivering cold weather) drinking in a tee shirt and shorts. around 8am i as at a girls house and was gonna perform oral sex on her but instead used her vibrator. When it came to lubricate the vibrator i put it in my mouth (touching the back of my throat) and pulled it out (was in for no longer than 10 seconds). now that was the only contact i had orally. The next day i had a sore throat and thought nothing of it. about a week later these red bumps on the back of my tongue appeared (have to stick my tongue out to see them).

Now its april 20th and i went to the doc and showed him the bumps and he says they are "taste buds" and they get bigger as they go back. so i thought i was ok (but i didnt tell him about the vibrator incident.) i am currently taking zpak (5th day) and the sore throat is almost gone but the bumps (no pain from them) are still there. Monday im going to see a allergy specialist and see if they find anything (doctor orders). Now about 2 days ago a friend of mine found out he was going to jail so we decided to have some drinks in the park (2am) and once again the weather was cold and damp out. following this i have a sore feeling on the inside of my lower lip and i grew extremely concerned about it. Also i have another one on my gums just below my lower teeth right in front of where my tongue rests (feels like when you've had too many sunflower seeds and the gum kinda feels raw).

Also on about april 20th my brother (who i unfortunately share a room with) said he has a sore throat and those red bumps on the back of his tongue.

What im trying to find out is, whats the chance i contracted HSV from the vibrator? what other STD could i have contracted from that contact? Also what are the chances i passed it to my brother? I have been having extreme anxiety and would like closure.

The things on the back of your tongue are indeed taste buds.  If you ask everyone you know to stick out their tongue and look at the back, you will see them on everyone.  And putting her vibrator in your mouth is just incredibly low risk for transmission of anything, especially if she hadn't used it recently.  The virus dies quickly when off the human body.  Your sore throat could be viral or bacterial but so unlikely to be herpes.

Now having said all of that, it is possible that you could have had herpes for year and didn't know it.  Have you ever been tested for herpes antibody in the past?

ive never been tested for herpes. i was thinking about getting tested after all of this. the allergy specialist told me today i in fact do have a sinus infection which im assuming was from drinking in the cold weather all night.

i appreciate all the help and this has given me a lot of peace of mind!

I just have one more concern, since my first doctor visit to mondays visit (about 7 days) i managed to go from 232lbs to 225lbs... im wondering if all the anxiety could have a factor on that. i noticed when i would eat i would feel sick to my stomach (cause i would think about what i did with that girl) and wouldnt be able to eat. Also i havent been working out for about 2 weeks when i used to workout twice a day.

Yes, I would agree that all this worry could cause you to eat less and thus lose weight.  And this drinking in the night in the wet probably isn't great for you either!
