Small bump on labia, can it be herpes?

Yesterday in the shower, I was cleaning down there when I felt a pimple like bump. I looked at it and though it was a little cyst, so I tried popping it. I ended up with and ulcer looking lesion. Yesterday it was bleeding a bit and this morning its scabbed over. There is no red base, itching, and it only hurts when i press on it. still feels a little lumpy under the lesion. I am going to a doctor as soon as I can get an appointment but can this be herpes? I cant to post a picture but I can't find a way to upload it.

Is it possible for herpes to present this way?

Hi, the saliva would not pass herpes and a single bump does not suggest herpes. Most often once one opens it spreads in a cluster type grouping.

I worry about this because the last guy I was with had a cold sore OB 1 day after we had sex. He used his saliva for lubrication.
