Herpes from one encounter?

Hello,

i'm a 22 year old male, and i had a one time encounter with a couple that i found online. I only had physical contact with the woman. The man was her husband, and he was also only touching her. I engaged in protected vaginal and unprotected oral with her. She also gave me oral. The husband engaged in unprotected vaginal/oral sex with her. The sex was short. Probably about 10-15 minutes of this. They told me they were completely clean, and i was stupid enough to believe them. They later told me they went to get tested, and turned out negative. But they wouldn't tell me for which type of HSV they tested for. This encounter was 12 weeks ago. I've been testing for herpes and HIV ever since. I tested negative for everything so far. Every time i tested, it's been <.091 which is good. But for the last 5 days, i've been feeling some on and off tingling/burning/itching in my pubic region. My pubic hair isn't crazy long or anything, but i haven't cut it in a while because of this encounter. I haven't seen any lesions or anything so far in these 12 weeks. I had one pimple i believe that went away after a few days down there, but nothing major. I also have been checking my lips constantly for cold sores, and haven't seen anything until recently. I've noticed some tiny skin colored bumps on the bottom left part of my lip. It's on the actual lip itself. Could this be herpes?? My question is, do you think I could have gotten herpes from this one encounter? Are my tests accurate after 12 weeks? Could i be asymptomatic and have super mild symptoms like this? Would I really need to get retested after 16 weeks or at 6 months to know for sure? Help :( i want to be over all of this and move on with my life.

This isn't herpes. The virus doesn't act like this at all. Itching is not a symptom of hsv in the absence of lesions

Sorry, wasn't sure if i was supposed to post that as a comment or as an answer. I'll just repost what i said just in case you couldn't see my comment:

But what about this on and off itching/irritation i'm feeling in my pubic and thigh region? :/ Again theres no bumps really. But if you look super closely with a light shining on my pubic region, you can see small red areas. Almost like it's inflamed or something. Some parts don't even have hair there. Couldn't red inflammation also be herpes?

Your lack of symotoms and negative testing is all pretty good evidence you did not contract hsv. After an exposure like you had I wouldn't have recommended testing in the absence of hsv symptoms. Meaning an outbreak of lesions. You most assuredly didn't need hsv testing. My advice would be to move on and you can test at 6 months if you want but you don't need it.
