Prometrium and Herpes
I recently tested positive for Herpes Type 2. I have never engaged in any sexual activities and do not understand how I got this disease. I took Prometrium in the past to regulate my menstruate cycle. I did some research on this drug and one of side effects for this drug is Herpes. Is it possible this medicine could cause a false positive or a positive blood results for Herpes Type 2?
I can beest help you if you post your actual blood test results here - ie hsv1 igg 4.4 and hsv2 igg . 23 or whatever they are.

Yes. I took a blood test for Herpes.

Are you saying you're a virgin? How were you diagnosed?
I've never heard of herpes being a "side effect" of a drug. Can you post the link to what you found? I'd like to read it.
