Question about Duration of Outbreaks

Grace and everyone esle

Doctor HHH mentions that Herpes never causes lesions that persist for more than 3-4 weeks (reccurent lesions). From your experience have you ever seen people who get outbreaks constantly for 2 months? If so how common is it?

I am depressed. I have a constant outbreak right on the inside of the vaginal opening, it is always red and semi sore like a rash, I can't see blisters except maybe tiny pin blisters.  I never have sex. I thought it was supposed to go away. I got herpes1  almost 2 years ago August. It is constant.

I have not heard of anyone with constant outbreaks, although with a primary outbreak it can last longer than susequent ones,I would say on average a week at most if medication is taken at the first sign that an outbreak is on it's way.
The condition is variable and does not always follow the same pattern in every individual but I'm pretty certain outbreaks would not last for weeks, however I don't know how it acts when no medication is ever taken for it perhaps outbreaks would recur more often which would seem like no time at all between them thus the feeling that it is constant. I would advise anyone suffering a lot of recurring outbreaks to consider Suppressive Therapy which would lessen them considerably.
