Hello,
On July 11th I went down to TJ and during my stay there I fingered this stripper/hooker. After the fingering I went straight to the restroom to wash my hand, but they did not have soap so i washed it with water for a long time. I inspected my two fingers the whole night the left and middle finger of my left hand. No obvious cut or even any cuticle opening. One day later I noticed these very small flesh colored bumps near the base of my left index finger. It never hurt and never turn red or even itch. Well that went away after 2 weeks without any symptoms. During this time I did not wash that finger. As those bumps were finishing up, I felt a strange lighting strike kind of feeling going through my left index finger for a few seconds that night then it stopped, I started toughing that spot a lot. The next morning I developed a little flesh colored raised on that spot that I was touching last night. This time it was half way up the middle of my index finger. I left it alone and it looks like it was going away, but then I kept touching it and it got a little bigger but it still hard to see without looking at my finger at an angle. It did not itch or hurt, or turn red. It was not sensitive. For the next 5 days it was still there. day 5-7 I noticed that it has a little pus underneath, but am not sure if its pus but the color is alittle whiter than my skin so it stands out, but its under the skin and not bumpy.
Day 7 the bump went away but I can still kind of see the pus/whiter color under the skin. I sometimes feel a little tingle/lightning strike of the nerve feeling in that spot, dont know if i'm imagining it or that i'm noticing my finger too much. I thought about going to the doctor, but its so hard to see that I'm thinking the doctor will send me home. I dont have insurance yet, because I started this new job 2 months ago. I have been freaking out even since I found out you can get herpes on the finger. If I known of this maybe my mind would have stopped me from fingering this girl. I was not thinking about fingering her, but then she bent over and asked for it, by this time my stupid brain stopped working and my penis did the thinking. I think in the standard STD guidelines they should include this into the herpes category and tell people that it is very possible to get Herpetic Whitlow. For those out there reading this, fingering is known as safe sex, but you can catch herpes on your finger, does not seem that safe to me.
Anyone with any knowledge about this disease please chime in.
By the way this is a great forum for down to earth informations, thanks to all the doctors and regular posters.
