Question regarding HSV2 IgG antibodies

So recently I tested 1.24 for HSV2 IgG antibodies and a .01 for HSV1. I will do further testing to confirm and hope to God this is a false positive but in the mean time, how can it be a false positive if the number for the antibodies is 1.24? I see people with higher numbers doing a western blot and coming out negative but if you were truly negative, wouldn’t your IgG antibodies for HSV be .01 or very low? If someone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it

I would look into it but don’t get your hopes up. I was a 1.3 on IGG and was positive on western blot too. :( no symtoms ever
