Questionable occurance

I regularly check out my public region for irregularities. Two days ago i found an area on my leg that looked suspect. It was a tiny irregularity no bigger than 1 mm, it appeared to be a singular non raised white blister (or membrane) with a distinct fiery red halo surrounding it. (it wasnt a raised vesicle or blister typical of herpes) It was located on my hamstring closer to my knee than to my genital region. I picked it (i know im not supposed to do that) it secreted some clear fluid and blood. It also seemed to have a hair growing out of the area but i cant tell for certain. After roaming the web Im paranoid this is herpes even though i've only had two monogamous partners my whole life. I also play sports and was wondering if this sounds like a bacterial or fungal infection (such as ring worm). Its only one area and just looks red now that ive picked at it. It is very small. Any ideas what this could be? I dont wanna go to the doctor b/c i have already visited him recently in a panic for what turned out to be ingrown hairs and folliculitis and then again for what ended up being jock itch which i treated with lamisil. Does herpes show up with a fiery red halo around it? Ive never had anything here b4 that i've noticed.

after covering it up it reformed exactly as it was b4 i picked it, im thinking it is an infected hair follicle. Do herpes ulcers ever reform into blisters? If they dont then i know its not herpes. Please someone respond to this.

for further clarification the area isnt painful at all and the red halo was not a red base but as if someone took a red pen and drew a line around the white membrane. Area not raised at all, it healed after picking at it. I have picked at it some more and it has bled but then heals again. Almost like a pimple or something. Had it for only a day and a half
