I got tested for HSV 1 AND2. Results r HSV IgG 1.2 and 1Gm 1.3. HSV 2 IgG 1.3 and IgM 2. What does this mean?
Is it safe to have children while having this disease? I always wanted to have children of my own and now with this I don't know if its possible.
so your partner tested + for hsv1 on the igg blood testing but negative for hsv2? Did he have any lesion cultures done of active symptoms on his penis?

My partner has herpes. Well he tested for HSV 1 and d results were over d normal range slightly can't remeber d exact number. However he noticed some stuff on his penis he said first time experienced that. He went to the doctor and h got Acyclovir for i week following which the stuff disappeared. And the doctor told him to rpt the test but also do ype 2. So hence the reason I got tested. We had sex about 1-2weeks prior to me being tested.
the herpes igm test is a greatly flawed test. you can totally disregard those results.
