Rare scenario need some advice

I am a IBD sufferer who is currently taking Infliximad to control my symptoms. Over the past 2 years it has worked out well, however, recently I have gotten rashes with pinpoint pimple like bumps that are very red under my armpits and behind my knees. This occurred within the past year. Now I have gotten a bad rash on my penis and groin region right after shaving. I used a new trimmer and accidentally cut myself numerous times while shaving and didn't think a lot about it, the next day though the rash appeared. It seemed as if the rash was growing around my hair follicules and I popped the pimple looking red bumps. These turned into Flat painful slightly raised spots, maybe 20-30 all over my groin and at the base of my penis (1/2 inch up). Now it appears to be spreading but not around the hair follicles, there are numerous clear bubbles that go all around my pubic region (Some 5 inches or so up about halfway up to my belly button) and some are higher up on my penis about half way.
My exclusive partner was tested for all STD's via blood and culture last week. We have been with each other for 2 months or so now. I was worried I had a staph infection and went to a walk in clinic, the doctor seemed shoddy but told me I had Herpes via visual diagnosis, then proceeded to give me an antibiotic. I told him I thought it was Staph Folliculitis and he said maybe it was both. I am in a panic now. Before my current partner I had not been with anyone for over 6 months, never once had I shown symptoms. If she does not have herpes then how could it be that I do? Furthermore I am surprised that it is spreading across my groin and is concentrated in my pubic hair not my penis (Even though there are some pinhead dots). This isn't identical to the rash I had in my armpits and kneecaps but it is similar (It itches less right now and isn't as red).
The final detail I would like to explain is that I have gone to a strip club recently and had one of the girls on my lap. However we did not have intercourse or oral sex. The aforementioned girl I was seeing was actually there with me.
Can someone comment to help me understand what could be going on?

Never had a blood test before this, never had any symptoms to be honest. It's so confusing that I have not had a partner in so long and am just now showing signs.
perhaps a dermatologist would be a better consult at this point from the sounds of things.
could this be herpes? it could be but also many other things it could be. it's unfortunate that a lesion culture wasn't done when you were seen if they suspected herpes.
did you ever have a herpes igg blood test yourself before this?

Forgot to mention I had a low grade fever last night & swollen pelvic lympg glands
