Reccurrence on the pubic area

Hi there. I had an outbreak over two months ago, still haven't been able to confirm it as HSV. At 15 weeks after suspected exposure, I have HSV1+ and HSV2 equivocal. PCR swab came negative.
Today, I noticed a blister like thing in my pubic area, closer to my thigh than to my genitals. Not huge, flesh coloured. I would probably not worry about it two months ago (might look like folliculitis), but considering that I'm still trying to confirm my HSV diagnosis, I was wondering if it is normal to have a reccurence such as this - in the pubic area, small pimple/blister thing.
I have an appointment with my dermatologist today, so I'll probably have it swab if she thinks it is necessary.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hi Grace! My dermatologist said that it is a benign skin papule...I told her about the whole herpes diagnosis and she says that it not related to it. =) I will keep a eye on it, still.

Following up on it is the best thing you can do. Let us know how your appointment went :)
