Several Small red sores

Recently I had unprotected (I know...stupid) sex with a girl I had recently met. Less than 36 hours afterwards, about a day and a half later, I noticed several small red sores just below the head of my penis. There are about 15-25 of them. I did research and the symptoms most closely match Herpes. I had also felt kind of sick before I noticed them, and even today (three days afterwards) I still feel a little out of it – slightly nauseous, tired and chilly. These closely resemble flu-like symptoms. However, it just got cold out so it could be due to the weather change.

The spots aren't painful and I haven't noticed any pain sensations. Also, they seem to be less irritated than when i first noticed them, about 24 hours ago. My theory is that they are irritated fordyce spots (I am uncircumcised and have not had a lot of sex), but there's a chance they could be something else. They are smell red spots, just barely raised. They aren't itchy or painful, and haven't scabbed or discharged. They aren't visible when I have an erection. Hopefully, they're benign, but I am a little worried. I haven't found any reports similar to what I'm experiencing.

Ok...the doc said it was a fairly minor fungal infection...let's hope she was right. Thanks for the comments and advice!

going to be seen is the best thing. It really doesn't sound like herpes is going on but let us know what you find out.
