Herpes Or friction/ razor burns

On friday september 27th i went to the gyno and got tested for stds and also got a flu shot my doctor said i would feel kinda crappy the next few days due to the flu shot and the next few days i felt as if i had a common cold (runny/stuffy nose, sneezing, mild sore throat) i had a one night stand with a guy sunday morning around 4-5 am and it was really really rough almost to the point that i didnt even enjoy it and he was very big. we used a condom at first but then took it off. it was very different because i never had it that rough we did it on his bed then in the shower (no condom) then again around 10 am ( again very rough and no condom) naturally i was feeling very sore and raw but only for a little bit later that day around 6 pm i once again had very rough sex. this time with my ex boyfriend but now current boyfriend he said he had hooked up with a girl since we broke up but said all he did was finger and make out with her.  my vagina was very red and raw but didnt itch or anything after the rough sex with had. the next day (monday sept 30) i didnt notice any bumps or anything on my vagina. later that day i went to my cousins house to shower and used a very crappy generic brand razor that had been used before and i was in a rush so i didnt take my time to shave. the next day i noticed the feeling of the blisters  but thought they were cuts from the razor i had used and that night i again i had very rough sex that was in a car and i eventually got really dry and it was again really rough. the next day i began to notice these 2 pea size blisters on opposite sides of my vagina and what looked like razor burn bumps they didnt itch or hurt or anything but were uncomfortable due to rubbing against clothes or walking they scabbed over really quickly and i began researching and a lot of forums said herpes i made an appt with my gyno (october 3) and she said it looked like herpes she took off the scabs to test them and now they look like red craters but im assuming any type of blister would look like that after you take off the scab but it also couldnt be because a. they are very large b. they arent clustered c. i dont show any initial symptoms such as tingling or pain and they are blisters but they do not hurt like herpe blisters should. the red bumps have gone down a lot but there are still a few. they arent white tipped or anything just looks like razor bumps. this morning (october 4) i went and look again and one of the bumps was a blister and popped clear fluid but again didnt hurt. some factors to consider are 1. lots of extremely rough sex 2.using an old very crappy razor 3. i wore lace kinda scratchy thongs after the sex. i got my test results back october 3rd and they said i was clean so theres only 2 people that could of done this the one night stand guy or my boyfriend. james (o.n.s) said he didnt have anything for i called him october 3rd after my gyno appt and asked he said that he promises he is clean but he hasnt gotten checked but swear up and down he is, or my boyfriend who has only had sex with me an another girl unless he lied and had sex with the other girl as well. my questions are 1. does this honestly sound like herpes 2. is there anything else it could be such as infection or friction burns from the continuous rough sex 3. could razor burn contribute to this. PLEASE help me i am so scared. and i know this is wrong and i deeply regret it and have learned my lesson.

Herpes sores tend to be on one side of the ganglia only and often show up i the same area.

herpes can show up as most any topical spot and often is referred to as the great imitator. But that being said, most often it appears as a single blister with clear fluid that pops. The liquid contains the herpes virus and once poped spreads the virus to the surrounding area and causes a cluster type irritation. They are not often the size as a pea but more a pimple and can be very painful and itchey.

Well with all the rough sex with all the different folks in cars and beds and all the different positions and using old razors and all the irritation you most likely got a sore that got infected. Each persons skin has a different PH and these could cause a change in your vaginal Ph and end with a yeast infection

If you have an active sex life and suspect you have herpes then you owe it to all those people who you will be intimate with down the road to get tested in 3 month for their protection. Condoms will offer much protection but not 100%.

she didnt swab the sores she took off the scabs to culture them. Have you heard of anything else that is similar to this that it could be?

Hi, if you had the sores swabbed and testest within 48 hours after appearing and came be negative that would be an issue. Swab tests are very common for a false negative. There only real value is showing a positive. I dont feel this was a herpes breakout for a couple of reasons. Even though they dont often show symptoms, a primary breakout can produce a fever and body aches as the immune system is mounting a defense against the new virus. Also breakouts tend to be on one side of the body not both.
At this point, if your truly concerned about herpes, then obstain from sex and get tested in 3 months.
