For maximum accuracy, four months.

Yeah i don't think it is hepres either. I didn't know i would have to wait four months before getting tested, I thought it was much less, no?
Good you went to see someone. They are in a far better position than I am to help you sort this out. If you are still worried, you can retest in four months from the encounter, but I'll bet your doctor knows what is going on here and he doesn't think it's herpes, right?
Terri
Hello Terri,
The doctor said it is, and i am translating "fatty bump which got inflamed due to rough friction from the hand stimulation" Further, he advised it cannot be herpes since it appeared so soon after the encounter, and that it does not look like herpes.
Moreover, he said I need to put some antiinflamatory ointment on it for five days, and if it does not go away to check back with him.
Your final opinion is appreciated, thanks
I doubt that it is herpes, but when people have a "bump", I think it is always good to have it evaluated in person, yes.
Terri
So could it be herpes, this mild? Noting I have had this type of bump numerous times in the past especially after unprotected sex. Could just be irritation from the hand sex using saliva + oral sex. It hasn't developed a whitehead yet. Should I consult a physician? Thanks
Have you ever been tested for herpes in the past?
Terri
But I do have a history with pimples... In fact I have one right now in between my testicles and buttocks opening
Thanks,
The bump started developing on the second night after the encounter.
Oh, and also I am not aware of any requirement for massage people to get tested for STDs at all.
Terri
How long after the contact did you develop the bump?
Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip? The risk here, which is really small, in terms of herpes, would be getting HSV 1, the type that causes recurrent cold sores, on your penis. If you've had a cold sore in your life, it is highly unlikely that you would get HSV 1 genitally after that.
